Public relations is 20th on Money magazines “50 Best Jobs” list, and was rated as a “D” on stress level and a “B” for creativity.

There are many different definitions of public relations, but all of them have the same common key words: deliberate, planned, performance, public interest, two-way communication, and management function.

There are five basic areas anyone with career plans in PR should be skilled in: writing skill, research ability, planning expertise, problem-solving ability, and buisness/economics competence.

The median entry-level salary for public relations graduates in 2007 was 30,000 dollars.
